I spoke with my contact at Hollywood Racks and he said that you will not be able to open your hatch with the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 3 Bike Rack, # HRF2-3, which you referenced, installed on your 2004 Lexus RX 330. The hinges on the hatch are not meant to support the extra weight, or the hatch could fall when opened due to the extra weight.
